At one time, there was a roadmap that had recording as an item in Q3, 2017, however, we had to reprioritize items. Skype Meetings App only shows a quarter of the presenter's screen I am a regular participant in Skype meetings hosted by other organizations. We are not an Office365 shop and I use a mac so I use the Skype Meetings App for joining meetings.

That we paid for. That we paid for. Did I say that we paid for? We've been using Skype for Business for years and frankly I am baffled by this discussion. People who are outside your organization can join the meeting using the web client (S4B Web App), and my understanding is that tool has had the ability to share screens for a long, long time. It is not necessary for users who are not a part of your organization to use a personal Skype account to join the meeting, so maybe that's part of the confusion here. Skype (personal) and Skype for Business are two different platforms, despite the similar sounding names.

If we test it internally it all works fine. The problem is when they are joining meetings hosted by other companies. There can be 3-4 different companies joining that meeting, and our company is the only company who can't see the shared screen, so the hoster's setup seems to be just fine. The problem is on our end.

After a lot of time and money to get E3 implemented, are we going to have to use WebEx or some other third party to make this work and share our Desktop with external clients?? I get that we would be paid customers and our clients might not be. Then make it a one way street and make us the only side that can share while the client cannot share with us. Unfortunately, since we are a business and installing Skype for Business Basic Client involves uninstalling Office that is already on the computer, we were unable to do this. I should not that when presenting, the primary monitor is visible and working but the secondary monitor is just a black or sometimes frozen screen where cursor trails are left. We also tried disabling the graphics drivers but all this did was make it so we could not have duel monitors. Please let me know if there are any other suggestions on what to do.
