Have you tried running a search to see if maybe it just accidentally got moved/dragged somewhere other than the Applications folder?

Maybe iMovie, instead of just having the app store my videos, allow me to create an account so that all my works are stored there. That way I can access my videos via the iMovie account on the app rather than just my laptop. Also, if you know how to retrieve deleted iMovie videos, please let me know ASAP because there are a lot of videos that I edited and didn’t export, since exporting takes a LONG time. It can get extremely confusing. It doesn't seem fair that you bought it when it was compatible with Snow Leopard and now the only reason you can't access it is because they decided cut you off with an update. 9.2.3 was released in March of this year, less than three months ago, and 9.3 was only last week! But then again, Apple isn't exactly fond of supporting 'legacy' systems. The only solution I can think of, which isn't a very good solution, is to get a retail disc of iLife '11 and update manually to 9.2.3.
